High King Mountain

	High King Mountain ski area is home to some of the best skiing in the whole of Austria with an impeccable snow record! Skiing is usually from early December to mid April and caters for all types of skiers from beginners, intermediates, experts and cross country. There are four ski schools to choose from and lot’s of easy beginners slopes within easy access.


		The High King Mountain skiing area is huge and rivals many of the better known resorts in size, with 150km of skiing, there is enough to keep even the keenest skier happy for a week. <View Skimap >



			There are 37 mountain restaurants to choose from, ranging from rustic farmhouses to large purpose built log cabins. Austrians are famous for Après Ski and the High King Mountain area is no exception, lively open air bars can be found at most of the ski bases where you can enjoy a post ski beer and take in the views.
